Writing Workshops

Request a Writing Studio Workshop

Our workshops are designed to support faculty and instructors by reinforcing what is already being taught in the classroom. Our goal is to encourage a campus culture of writing. We can conduct these workshops in your classroom or at the Writing Studio. If you choose the Writing Studio for your workshop, we can include a short tour of our space.

We are also offering our workshops to any groups or organizations on campus such as RSOs, sororities, and fraternities.

Assigning a specific type of paper and not seeing what you need? We will work with you to mix and match our workshops to fit your needs. Once you fill out the form and indicate that you would like a custom workshop, we will get in touch through email.

We can combine any of our existing workshops to fit your needs. For example, we could discuss how to find credible sources and then show how to incorporate and cite them in a paper; or we could discuss what academic writing is, how to find the sources that are part of academic writing conventions, and how to set up a Reference or Works Cited page.

When you sign up on the request form and indicate that you would like this option, we will email you to collaborate on what you want/need.
