UA Early Alert

UASuccess utilizes an early alert system in Blackboard to help with classroom retention. Faculty can raise flags if a student is not attending class regularly, is not participating in class, or has a low grade.  Once raised, an Early Alert flag goes to the student in question, the student’s advisor, and the Office of Academic Success.  Faculty can also praise a student’s academic performance by raising one of three kudos – "showing improvement," "keep up the good work," and "outstanding performance."

U of A Cares was implemented by the Division of Student Affairs to encourage members of the university community to alert U of A Cares team members about students who are exhibiting signs of distress in any area of their lives. To report a concern, go to http://uofacares.uark.edu.
