In-person sessions are 1-on-1, however, if you have a friend or study partner who wants to join, we can accommodate group sessions. If someone else is planning on joining, please leave a note in your appointment to help your tutor best prepare. For larger groups, please see our Tutor-Led Study Group Session information.

Drop-in Tutoring
Drop-in tutoring is available for quick questions, no appointment necessary. Sessions are approximately 20 minutes but can go longer if the demand for tutoring is low. View the schedule on the calendar below.
Study Halls
Study Halls offer an opportunity for you to work on homework, study with classmates, learn collaboratively, and ask a tutor questions when you need help. Study Halls require no registration and last 1.5 hours. You may arrive at any time during Study Hall and stay for as little or as long as you like!

About Tutoring
Tutors at the Student Success Center are students who have excelled in their disciplines and are here to help you excel in yours. Our tutors can help you reinforce what you already know and understand new material through working practice problems, reviewing study strategies, and using their course experience to explain content. We provide tutoring for over 150 UofA courses each semester. There is no cost to attend a tutoring session!
Tutoring @ the CORD is certified through the College Reading & Learning Association's International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC).
All tutors complete CRLA Level I Certification training during their first semester of tutoring, and we work hard to ensure that all tutors have the tools and resources to assist you to the best of their ability.

What is your favorite campus resource?
My favorite campus resource would have to be Pat Walker Health Center. This is my favorite resource because they are available in a number of ways to help students with medical needs, mental health, and substance use and support at affordable prices.
What is a bucket list thing students should do while here in Fayetteville?
One thing every student should do while in Fayetteville is go to the farmers market in the Fayetteville square followed with lunch at Feed and Folly!
What is your favorite thing about working at the SSC?
I anticipate my favorite thing about working at the SSC will be all of the different people I will have the opportunity to connect with. I am excited for all the different forms of relationships I will have the opportunity to build with my fellow co-workers and peers!

A fun fact about me is I am orginally from St. Louis, MO and I have three sisters.

My favorite thing about working at the SSC is the building we work in, it is new and an awesome place to work. We have The Drove downstairs too which is nice for lunch!

A bucket list thing students at the UofA should do is go to the farmers market. It's such a fun activity to do on the weekend with your friends!
