Service Learning
Provide experiential learning opportunities to students may already be providing the components needed for an official Service Learning designation to their course. Requirements include five hours of service for each credit hour, structured reflection, and collaboration with a community partner.
Student Employment
Help your students find on-campus or off-campus student employment! Student employment is a pathway to exploring the world of work, building career skills, discovering your interests, and earning money while in school. We offer both on-campus and off-campus opportunities.
Community Service
As a part of the Division of Student Affairs, the Center for Community Engagement upholds the Division's mission of ""Strengthening Students for Success"" through experiential learning opportunities designed to challenge students and support the growth of skills and understanding.
The Volunteer Action Center and other programs within the Center for Community Engagement provide multi-level leadership experiences that encourage students to address complex social issues through service based solutions.
Through one-to-one advising, team meetings, and partnership building, students dig deep to discover root causes then design and adapt programs to meet the varied, ever-changing needs of community agencies and individuals. Student leaders develop essential skills such as problem solving, project management, and working collaboratively while creating a measurable impact in the Northwest Arkansas community and the lives of those we serve.

Leadership Development
Support leadership development by connecting students to experiential opportunities that strengthen self-awareness, communication, teamwork, and decision-making, while enhancing their ability to engage in reflective learning and apply leadership concepts across academic, co-curricular, and professional contexts.
Credit for Prior Learning
Support student success through Credit for Prior Learning! Faculty and academic units play a key role in identifying eligible courses and evaluating student learning. Collaborate with the Global Campus Professional and Workforce Development team to develop CPL pathways that uphold academic integrity and expand access for learners.
